More than just an integrator
We’re not your everyday technology company. Best Security Systems is committed to being a heavily-involved supporter of the broad systems integration industry and the community of professionals that surrounds it. As supporter of the Teknowledge WorldWide (TKW) community, we are vested in working to build a global network and community of industry professionals that work together as a team to solve the world’s technology problems. We don’t view other integrators as competition; rather, we view them as valuable partners in the industry with a mutual interest in supporting each other’s practices and collaborating to hone skill sets – ultimately, resulting in reinforcing the industry as a whole, better serving clientele. Standing behind #communityovercompetition is who we are.
We’re here to make a difference and serve those who need it the most. With the philanthropic ambitions of the TKW community, we and other community integrators have worked together to raise funds to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars in hardware and services to recipient non-profit organizations nominated for the difference they make in their communities. The TKW TeksGiving program selects a nominated non-profit organization every year to donate hardware, software, services, and installation – all at zero cost to the nominated organization. The 2021 Partner2GiveBack project selected the Ben Wilson Senior Center in Warminster, PA – with the TKW community of integrators from the U.S. and Canada collectively donating and installing over $85,000 worth of technology and services for the BWSC!
In 2022, we were honored to be partnering with the TKW community again to deliver a technology upgrade to the 2022 nominee: Berachah Church of Cheltenham, PA. The TKW community selected Berachah Church as the 2022 recipient because of the support they offer to the community of Cheltenham. The TKW community deployed Berachah Church’s technology package at zero cost to the church on September 23rd – 25th, 2022.
The end result of the project for the church simply wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible collaborative efforts of the TKW community. From the systems integrators and installers performing the system retrofit, to distributors and manufacturers providing hardware and materials, to the local hotel and venues providing lodging and food to everyone who traveled from across the U.S. and Canada to contribute.
After completion, the total value of the network and security upgrades performed for Berachah Church is estimated to be approximately $175,000 between donated materials, time, travel, and other associated costs. Thanks to the TKW community coming together and working as a team, the project was completed at zero cost to Berachah Church.
